Hello there! Michelle here sharing how you can add a touch of elegance to your projects using a vellum technique and a little sparkle and shine!
Creating the base
I started off my gift tag by die cutting two tags from the Terrific Tag Die Set cut from Classic Crest 110lb Solar White Cardstock. On to one, I added ink blending with a Small Ink Blending Tool and Sugarplums Crisp Dye Ink Mini Cube Set.

These have a beautiful plum/pink/purple tone to them. For some added sparkle, I spritzed the tag with Iridescent Shimmer Ink Spray before setting aside to dry.
Heat embossing on vellum technique
Taking the beautiful image from the Bouquet of Love Stamp Set, I stamped it onto Vellum Translucent Paper with Embossing Ink. I applied Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder and heat set. Be careful when heating vellum; it is prone to warping!

Adhering vellum
Before die cutting, I added Double-sided Adhesive Sheet to the back. This is so that you do not really see the adhesive because the whole piece is covered with it. It was die cut out using the Bouquet of Love Die Set, the backing paper removed and adhered on to the tag, cutting the excess off with scissors. I did leave a small leaf overhanging, as I like the look!

Sentiment and finishing touches
The sentiment from the Bouquet of Love Stamp Set was stamped onto black cardstock with Embossing Ink. I applied Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder and heat set. It was cut into a strip and added to the tag with Instant Dimension Foam Tape. The other tag was added to the back so that I have a clean place to write a personal message. I added twine through the top and then finished off with a few Iridescent embellishments.
You can see how I created the tag in the process video below or on YouTube.
I hope that has inspired you to add vellum on to your projects. Thank you so much for stopping by, have a wonderful day!
