Hello everyone!
Svitlana is here. Today I want to share a holiday card of a pretty simple design which I elevated by adding some dimensional touches.
To make the front panel of the card I used the Basic Plaid 3D Embossing Folder with a light green cardstock. Altenew embossing folders create such beautiful and prominent texture that they make half of a card already. To highlight the plaid design after embossing with the folder I swiped an Embossing Ink along the panel texture, added Pure White Embossing Powder and heat set it.
To make the ornament I used the Lovely Ornament Die Set. Die-cutting the leafy textured layer three times out of a Solar White Cardstock and stacking them on top of a white die-cut.
The leafy branches that were left after the ornament die-cutting I colored by blending the Shadow Creek Dye Ink using the Ink Blending Tool and then adding shading using the Mountain Pine Dye Ink and Detailed Blending Brushes.
I foam mounted the panel onto a white card base and then popped up the ornament on top. After that, I adhered the leafy branches onto the card as if they were tied to the ornament and added a hemp twine bow to it.
To make the sentiment I white embossed a stamp set from the Lovely Ornaments Stamp Set onto a red cardstock strip and popped it up onto the card.
This card was quite quick and easy to make and it features a pretty simple design. But because there are several dimensional the card looks much more interesting, I believe.
Have a wonderful day!

Simply gorgeous!!
Such an elegant card Svitlana!
Lovely, lovely holiday card! The white embossing over the 3D embossing folder really enhanced the background and made it stand out. Thanks for the great tip.
Your white heat embossing over the dry embossing is so cool! Makes you the embossing boss! Thanks!
