A wedding card with Peonies

by Marika

Hello everyone, it is Marika here at the blog today. I am featuring Peony Scrolls and Ori Kami sets today with a video tutorial. A half a year ago I made a card with these peonies and coloured them with pencils. I was asked to show you how I made that card. The technique is quite the same as what I am about to show you, today I used copic markers instead of pencils. I think these peonies are so beautiful and some of in my garden are about to bloom so I took the colour theme just from my back yard. Here is my card for today:

Here is a close-up:

Copic markers used: Peonies: R81 -RV34 – R56 – R59, Leaves: YG91  – YG95 – YG97, Background: W0 – W1

I filmed while I coloured. If you wish see me to make this card, you can watch it here or in HD in Youtube:

ARVE Error: need id and provider

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you got some inspiration to colour these beautiful peonies!

Thank you Vicki! I was a bit of scared using copics for a video. Glad that it went okey.

I think you did a stunning job coloring these flowers! When I first saw the card I thought it was painted because it is so beautifully done. Copic should certify you just based on this card! Thanks for sharing your talent :)

So beautiful. It would be helpful if you slowed it down for a few petals and close in to see how far out you place the color. I am so inspired to try your technique!

Thank you for your feedback, Sherry. I really appreciate it a lot. I try to remember to do it in the future. And it is good to know that you’d like to see the colouring more in detail.
