A watercoloured Poppy

by Marika

Hello, it's Marika here today to share with you two cards made with Painted Poppy stamp set. Both of them are watercolored – one with Distress Inks and the other with traditional watercolours. Thank so much for your feedback and requests for video tutorials, it was so much easier to start working with these when I knew what you wanted to see. This time I filmed the card made with traditional watercolours but the same technique works well also with distress inks.

Stamps used: Painted Poppy with traditional watercolours

Stamps used: Painted Poppy and Floral Motifs (sentiment) with traditional watercolours

Here is the video if you like to see how this card came together:

ARVE Error: need id and provider

I believe this stamp set is wonderful with watercolours since it gives you the choice to go for very loose and artistic look or for more detailed look, just what is in your style or preference at the time. I went for more artistic look with Distress Inks and didn't add details as much as in the first one.

Stamps used: Painted Poppy, Sketchy Rose with Distress Inks.

Thank you for stopping by today and hope you liked it! Please, take out your watercoloring set and have some fun! Have a wonderful week and see you soon!

Marika
