Dynamic Duo: Wildflower Bouquet
Who doesn't love a bouquet of wildflowers? Wildflowers are often celebrated for their delicate beauty, vibrant colors, and ability to create stunning natural landscapes. The Dynamic Duo: Wildflower Bouquet Stamp Set will help you add some extra details to the coordinating layering stencil set and make your bouquet stand out even more! We have also included five sweet sentiments to celebrate kindness and happiness. The Dynamic Duo: Wildflower Bouquet Layering Stencil Set includes all the pieces you need to form a cute bunch of flowers. You can also use the stamp set for additional details and finish your card with kind sentiments.
Today, I am using the Dynamic Duo: Wildflower Bouquet and Add-on Die to bring color and a soft touch to a new 6×8 memory keeping layout. Let's take a look at the project:
Start With a Soft Background
I wanted this page to have a focused background, that means that I have to work on layers to achieve a soft and colorful memory keeping layout. For this, I am using the stencil of the Dynamic Duo: Wildflower Bouquet to create a soft impression of the design at the right side of the page.
To make sure that the design of the background encases the entire right and bottom side of the layout, I am adding the impression on an angle. This creates the effect of the flowers coming onto the page from the bottom right corner of the page.
I am only using the stencil set and Fresh Dye Inks (check the Supply List for all the ink colors) to create the background. I opted to not add extra details so that they softly frame the layout.
Add a Bit of Texture
In order to bring some interest to this soft and colorful memory keeping layout, I am creating a Dynamic Duo: Wildflower Bouquet die cut. This time, I am adding extra details using the stamp set, then the Dynamic Duo: Wildflower Bouquet helps me cut out the design. By gluing this die cut to the the bottom corner of the page, it automatically sits atop of the stenciled impressions, thus adding a bit of dimension.
Make It Interactive
In order to keep the soft look of the page, I am opting for creating an interactive element to encase my photos. For this, I am using a small flap at the top left corner of the layout that showcases the photos and hides the journaling.
The small flap cascades into the page, which keeps the page light and airy while bringing your memory to the layout. I created a video showing how the page came together; watch it here or in HD in the Altenew YouTube Channel:
I hope the video gave you a better idea about how a soft and colorful memory keeping layout can still bring interest to both your background and photos and be impactful at the same time.
What projects or layouts do you have in mind? I cannot wait to see what you will create with this idea for your next project. I am sure you are going to love the new Dynamic Duo: Wildflower Bouquet!
