Hello Altenew Friends!  It's Laurie here today with a quick and simple card using a new favorite!  If you follow my blog, you know I love quick and easy cards.  Coloring is not a strong point for me so any time I can use in blending to add in color, I am there for it!  Adding a black and white image makes for great added detail, too!

One of my favorite ways to decorate a card base is a masked background.  Adding washi or masking tape around the card base to create a frame is such an easy way to make that area pop with color.  Just grab your Ink Blending Tool and blend in color.  I did an ombre effect here with Frosty Pink, Coral Berry and Ruby Red.

After stamping the large Sisters of the Heart image in Obsidian Black ink, I die cut it out with the coordinating die.  I also cut out a layer of fun foam to back the image, giving the perfect dimensional for the blooms.  To give the card a little shine, I used Altenew's Essential Black and White Enamel Dots for a little added detail.  To finish off the card, I used a simple Thank You from Many Thanks.  That is one of my favorite Altenew sets of all time!  I love all the fonts included in that set!

I hope you enjoyed today's quick and simple card! Thank you so much for stopping by today!  Hope you have an awesome week!

What a beautiful clean and simple card. I love the way you defined the ink blended edges, it creates a shadow that adds dimension!
