Good morning! It's Jen here today, and I'll be giving you a closer look at our Teachers Rule set.
This is not your average teacher-themed stamp set. Among the many mix-and-match sentiments (which includes options for a variety of teachers), we have also included a multi-step apple! With some creative inking, this apple could become a peach, orange, or other fruit as well.
So let's get to the projects! My first one is a pretty standard teacher card. I stamped the apple and sentiment onto a cardstock panel (made to look like a piece of notebook paper), then mounted it onto my card base. For a fun little pun, I added “from my core” to a cardstock banner and popped it up with foam tape.
This next card features our lovely sentiment, “the best teachers teach from the heart not from the book.” So true! I mounted the sentiment onto this fun background: I created it by using our Shutter Cover Die to make a mask which was adhered to watercolor cardstock. Then, I loosely painted with fuchsia and pink watercolor paints, and removed the mask once everything was dry. I love the effect!
My last card shows how this versatile set can be used for any recipient – not just teachers! I stamped the apple twice – once with pink/red, and another time in green inks – to create two different apple varieties (maybe Pink Lady and Granny Smith?). Then, I mounted them both onto a piece of patterned cardstock. The sentiment, “you're the apple of my eye,” finishes off the card.
I hope you feel inspired to check out this new stamp set, and we can't wait to see what you create!

I could see my sister using these. I will pass along the post. Thank you for creating such exciting projects.

Gorgeous cards, Jen! I love the details on the apple and the sentiment on your 2nd card is so beautiful…and so true!
I love these new stamps Jen and some beautiful cards have been made with them. Great for a teacher’s card but love the two others with the stencilled backgrounds and that lovely sentiment. x
