Small Image Stamps? 3 Ways to Use Them on Your Handmade Cards

by Sveta Fotinia

Hello, everyone!  Today I will share with you three one-of-a-kind cards using Mini Delight: Birthday Love Stamp Set.Mini Delight Birthday Love Sentiment Strips 2 01The first way is the classic one – as the main image and the focal point. I stamped three balloons and added twines by hand using a black liner pen.Mini Delight Birthday Love Sentiment Strips 2 05For the balloons, I chose three ink colors that I used for all three cards I've made for today: Vanilla Cream, Sea Glass, and Soft Lilac Crisp Dye Inks. I like their soft pastel tones. When I thought why I chose those, I remembered that when I was a little, I had a t-shirt and shorts set with pastel yellow, blue, and purple balloons on it! Amazing how old memories can affect our creations now.Mini Delight Birthday Love Sentiment Strips 2 06For the sentiment, I took Sentiment Strips 2 Stamp Set and chose the most “party-themed” ones for two of my cards. Mini Delight Birthday Love Sentiment Strips 2 07For my second card I used little balloons to create a background. It's one of my favorite ways to use tiny or small stamps. This time, I also used the outline image stamp and drew twines by hand again. Really love all three cards and intend to have a go at recreating your designs myself, perhaps in different colours. I find it really helps to copy a design when I first have a new stamp set and then this gives me confidence to go on and create myself, so thank you so much as I already have this stamp set.
