How to Make 3 Friendship Cards with 1 Technique

by Aga

Hello, everyone! It’s Aga here today with three friendship cards created with only a few similar crafty products along with the newly released Friends Forever Stamp Set and coordinating dies.

Card 1

For my first card, I started by die cutting two branches from Hanging Garden Die Set out of white cardstock to create a beautiful soft textured background. After that, I placed them on my card and stamped a sentiment from Friends Forever Stamp Set with Espresso Crisp Dye Ink. Then, as a main focus, I used a cup stamp from the set and a paper piecing technique. This is a simple stamping technique that allows you to add quick detail to your stamped images and uses colored cardstock or patterned paper.

I used a beautiful floral paper from Verdant Walk 6×6 Paper Pack to cut out a cup shape and kraft cardstock for the details stamped with Espresso Crisp Dye Ink.

Card 2

For my second friendship card, I stamped my cup stamp with Espresso Crisp Dye Ink onto kraft cardstock and used patterned paper and white cardstock for the smaller parts. I also added a negative panel popped up with a foam tape for more interest and dimension.

To finish the card off, I stamped “coffee marks” from Watercolor Frames Stamp Set with Espresso Crisp Dye Ink in the background and added my sentiment and two straws.

Card 3

For my last card, I stamped three cup stamps with Espresso Crisp Dye Ink onto white cardstock and finished them with details cut out of patterned paper.

Finally, my last step was to stamp the sentiment and straws with Espresso Crisp Dye Ink and cut them out using coordinating dies.

I hope you enjoyed these examples and you found some inspiration today. Thank you for stopping by!
