3 easy ways to use Altenew’s Colorful Cardstock!

Hello crafty friends! It's Laurie Willison here today with several new cards, using the new Gradient Cardstock Sets. Altenew just released 4 new packs of cardstock. These packs make things like the Craft-A-Flower dies, super easy to put together. Not to mention, the papers coordinate with Altenew's ink, in all the gorgeous colors!

Each pack as 3-4 colors of cardstock, ranging from light to dark, that work perfectly with the Craft-A-Flower die sets. Today, I am using the Red Sunset pack, along with a previously released, Green Meadows pack with the amazing Craft-A-Flower: Poppy Die Set.

Using the Classy Stripes Stencil, I added in a little striped detail, along with some black and white paint mist. The Thank You sentiment is from the stamp set called Tranquilty Rose. I just love that font!

Another great use for the Gradient Cardstock Sets, is to create a simple ombre background.

After stamping this gorgeous bloom from Pen Sketched Flowers directly on the white card base, I added the cardstock from the Rose Petal Cardstock Set to another white panel. I stamped again so the flower would work perfectly when lined up back on the white card front.

Altenew's glue tape works perfectly to adhere the 3 pieces directly to the card front. Using one of the sentiments from the same floral stamp set, I stamped the sentiment in Obsidian Black Ink to finish off the card.

This last card was so fun to make! The blooms and leaves are from the Mini Clusters Layering Die Set. The Gradient Cardstock set called New Purple worked great to layer up these beautiful blooms!

Using a light gray card base, I added in the white cardstock Striped Leave Cover Die, for a little extra detail. Altenew's new foam tape works great to give the Mini Clusters dimension from the card front.
