Life Is Like a Box of Rolled Roses Home Décor Handmade Gift

My local big box store frequently has deals on these economical shadow box frames–usually, I can get two for the price of one shadow box. I like to keep memorabilia around my crafting studio and around my home. Sometimes I use the extra frame as part of a handmade gift to share.

I used my stash of patterned papers from the Celebrate 12×12 Paper Pack. I cut a few dozen roses to fill my frame in a heart shape. Using the Mini Rolled Rose Die Set made assembling this unique handmade gift a breeze.

Then, I applied gesso (or other acrylic-based paint) to the backside of the glass. This way, my Mighty Alphabet die-cut letters would stand out against the roses in the background.
