White Lilies with Inktense Pencils

by Marika

Hello! It is Marika here today to feature Layered Lily set from the latest release. I made this pink lily card to the release blog hop and I was kindly asked to show how I did it. In today's tutorial I use quite the same technique – what is different is that in the blog hop card I stamped all five layers with Altenew inks and didn't blend the inks between the layers. Here is my card:

Derwent Metallic Pencils: Antique Gold (83)

Derwent Inktense Pencils: Oak (1730), Indian Ink (2020)

You can watch my tutorial here or in HD in YouTube

ARVE Error: need id and provider

Hopefully you found this tutorial helpful and got some inspiration how to use this gorgeous lily stamp set.

See you soon!

Marika

Marika is such a talented colorist and watching her is such a pleasure. Her explanations are always easy to follow and add to my repretoire. I don’t think she’s ever colored anything that wasn’t beautiful. i envy her talent and Altenew is so lucky to have her on their DT.

Thank you for this video. I’ve been trying to introduce watercolor into my work, but my attempts have been clumsy. Being able to watch a skilled artist work is the most valuable way for me to learn. You are an amazing person to have on the design team, and I’m so happy I’ve found this blog.

You’re very welcome, Marcie. I’m glad that I have been able to help you in your colouring. Please, just keep colouring. You’ll be more pleased with your work after every day and after every work since we all learn new things every time we colour. And in the end that it is that matters the most that you love what you do. Thank you for your sweet comment. It truly brightened up my day.
