Hi there Altenew friends, it's Jaycee! Over the past few months, I have gathered a stash of embroidery floss. These threads have come from an array of embroidery kits I have purchased and made. In this video tutorial, I have two of my favorite dies to bust through the yarn stash. These two cards are incredibly easy and are perfect for any skill level!
Incredible Cross-Stitching
Cross-stitching is the easiest way to fill an entire card front with color. I love how I could use my stash of thread to make this card with an array of colors. The key to beautiful crosses is consistent patterns.
Embroidered Lines
This card requires very little skill and it does not require an embroidery needle. You can still make this card if you are able to pull the thread through the die-cut holes along the edges of the die-cut cardstock. This card is great for strands of thread around 4 to 6 inches. You can easily make a background full of texture and color – all you need is a sentiment to suit the occasion!

Awesome projects!!
Thank you Cindy!
Great cards, Jaycee!
Which die did you use for the second card with just holes around the perimeter?
Audja, that die is part of the Mix and Match Frames Die Set here: https://altenew.com/products/mix-and-match-frames-die-set
Thank you for watching!
