Hi, it's Therese, and I am back with another edition of Take 2 with Therese. Today, I have a Die Focus using the Garden Trellis Cover Die.

I used the die in 2 very different ways, starting with a rainbow inlay style making the Garden Trellis Cover Die the focus of the card design.

First, I added a Hello and Hugs die-cut sentiment.

Then, I added a sub sentiment heat embossed in Pure White from the Sentiment Strips 2 Stamp Set.

My second card design uses some Artist Marker Refills to add color to some acetate.

This time the focus is on the Open Bloom 3D Die with the Garden Trellis Cover Die adding a background highlight.

I die cut my own frame using the Halftone Squares Dies and added a simple sentiment from the Signature Words Die Set.

To see how I created these cards you can watch my video here or watch it in HD at YouTube.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Love the new trellis background die. Mine is on its way here in a day or so. Can’t wait to try this technique when it arrives!

Love your cards! Thanks for sharing! Love the open blooms die. I just ordered the Lily dies!
I love all of the layering flower dies, they are so easy to use and make such an impact on a card!
This Garden Trellis Die is lovely and speaks to my tastes. I loved some of your techniques especially the acetate features. Interesting! Thank you.
Thanks so much Patricia
Therese, each of these cards is so lovely in its own way. Your video gave me some great ideas to try next on my cards. tfs-stay well.
Thank you Helen
I have made a few cards with layered dies with acetate, but I found although they looked ok, they seemed a bit washed out especially when I mixed it with colour paper, you really couldn’t see the layer. But with using the alcoholic ink! WOW! what beautiful results! I can not express how much I LOVE LOVE this look. I actually don’t know any alcohol inks or makers, but after seeing this I am going to have to get some! This card is just too amazing! And I so enjoyed your video. You have so much patients, placing all those tiny squares, and then cutting them out of the acetate!
Thank you so very much Annette!
Just stunning! The 3D die is absolutely gorgeous! I love the look of paperpiecing and this really elevates that process!!
Thank you so very much Carol!
