Hi, it's Therese, and I am back with another edition of Take 2 with Therese.
Today's post is about creating two clean, simple floral cards using one hot foil image! In this card project, I used the beautiful Delightful Flowers Bundle.
How to Make 2 Floral Cards with One Hot Foil Image
Hot foiling is very popular right now, and one thing I do not like to do is ‘waste' any of my amazing products. So, today I'm sharing how I used the ‘leftover' foil and how to make 2 cards using both the positive and negative versions of the image.
Idea # 1 – The Positive Hot Foil Image

I used some shiny black hot foil today; this gave the illusion of a stamped image. But, if you hold this up to the light, you can see the shine on the outline, as well as a slight impression from the die.
This set has a coordinating Layering Stencil Set, which made it quick and easy to add color to the foiled image. And I used a sentiment from the Ornamental Bliss Stamp Set, heat-embossed onto some purple cardstock.
Idea # 2 – The Negative Hot Foil Image
Wow! I was so excited to see how this image looked in reverse, but I wasn't ready for the impact that the black foil created!
So, I kept it very clean and simple. I popped the panel up on the front of a card and added a die-cut Fine Rings: Circles sentiment from the Magnolia Ballerina Stamp Set.
