Hi, it's Therese and I am back with another edition of Take 2 With Therese.
Today, I decided to share 2 ways to use the Marbled Dream Washi Tape.
I started by creating a panel and die cut the Mega Ampersand Die.
My first card uses the negative space and some images from the Retro Plantines Stamp Set.
As well as a sentiment from the Delicate Flower Bed Stamp Set.
The positive portion of the die-cut was used on my second card.
I started by stamping a background with the Dotted Blooms Stamp Set.
And then I added a sentiment from the Flower Vine Stamp Set.
How-to Video!
You can see my video here or watch it in HD on YouTube.

Thanks for sharing these lovely cards, Therese. I have the large ampersand but haven’t used it yet. Your 2 designs have inspired me to try something like this soon. Stay safe, be healthy.
Thanks so much Helen, I adore the large ampersand and would love Altenew to make a stamp version (wink)!
This was an interesting technique with the wide washi. I wondered what you would do with something that wide. The bone folder tip was great, also. Thank you!
Thanks so much Patricia, the wide washis are perfect for backgrounds and die cutting, you could even use it to die cut a sentiment for a card too.
Oh yes, I love Altenew’s gorgeous washi tapes, too. 2 fabulous cards!! Thank you for sharing your inspiration.
Thanks so much Karen!
I wish I had enough money to own everything Altenew comes out with!! I need to get these washi tapes too!!
Hahahaha me too!
These are lovely. You created such a beautiful background with the dotted bloom stamp. I have that one and really like it. The washi looks great and the touch of color against the black and white background is wonderful. It makes a great background too.
Thanks so much Annette, this really is a beautiful washi!
Your use of this washi tape is fabulous and were able to make two cards from the negative and positive die cut. Brilliant! As always your cards are inspirational. I haven’t purchased the wide washi tape yet, but these cards really want me to try them out. I love that they can make such an easy background.
Thanks so very much Annette, I agree a ‘2 for 1’ is such fun!
Great video on the process. I appreciate the washi tip. I was struggling earlier with a roll and just knew I watched the ways video, but couldn’t remember how. I will need to practice this a few times so I can recall for future creations.
