Hello there, friends! It's Laurie here today with a quick and simple handmade card using 3 Altenew products. Today we will be using the Broken Chevrons Stencil, Bloom and Grow Stamp Set, and the Sentiment Strips Stamp Set. I will also be using Obsidian Pigment Ink, along with Sunray and Chamomile yellow inks, all from Altenew.
To create this card I did a little circular ink blending on a card base with the Broken Chevrons Stencil. I started out with Chamomile Ink around the edges and then blended in with some Sunray Ink, giving the center a brighter look. Next, I stamped and die cut that gorgeous bloom from Bloom and Grow Stamp Set. This set is from an Altenew and Hero Arts Collaboration and I just love how that flower looks in black and white.
Last, I stamped all the sentiments from Sentiment Strips Stamp Set onto a black piece of cardstock and then heat embossed them all at once. I used a craft knife and ruler to cut out each strip. Doing this gives me a little backup pile of sentiments to add to cards in the future.
I added the bloom to the corner of the card with foam tape and then attached 2 of the black strips giving the card the perfect sentiment for a friend.
I hope you have enjoyed my card today! Try this quick and simple handmade card idea next time! Thanks for coming by!

So beautiful!
I love this card! I need to figure out how to pin from altnew’s blog to make sure I don’t forget to recreate this look. I love how you used the stencil for a texture background, and your beautiful ink blending. The black and white with the stripes really complete the look. Also I love that stamp set! Such pretty images.
A beautiful and elegant card Laurie, I love it! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful inspiration and have a wonderful day.

I like how the background blending highlights the flower and the double strip sentiment. Beauty in simplicity.
